Below are suggestions on how to make a quick pizza with items hopefully already in your posession around the house.
Bases. 1. Simply just make it yourself. Mix flour, oil, salt and pepper, water and yeast leave to prove, whats the worst that could happen. 2. Use bread, toast it and turn on the grill to melt the cheese.
3. Tortilla, lightly fry in a pan while building the toppings on top then either grill or slide into the oven.
4. Baguette, cut along lenth ways and top, before going in the preheated oven.
5. Use pita bread, buns, bagels, foccacia, brioche, white, brown
Tomato sauce.
Get creative, think expansive, think minimal but dont forget to season it well.
1. Ketchup, small amount then spread with back of spoon. Add Oregano.
2. Tomato puree, again small amount same thing. Add Oregano. 3. Tin of tomatoes, spread around the base. Add Oregano.
4. Pesto, depending on the pesto you may not need to add Oregano at this stage.
5.Actual tomatos, chop into as many disks as you can and spread along the base. Add Oregano.
Toppings.
1. Cheese 100% if its available. Mozzerella > Chedder > Blue Cheese, Any cheese.
2. Think, ham, bacon, chicken, bacon, all things you'd put in a sandwhich are god/good here.
3. Quickly chop some mushrooms, olives, sun dried tomatos, onions, peppers, sweetcorn and thing there must be somehting in those cupboards you like!
4.Have you got any jalapenos spare from a mexican evening?
5. Could you slice some fresh garlic if its a minimal pizza to give heaps more flavour.
Depending on whether you want a lengthy masterpiece or a quick snack, no matter where I've been. I've always managed to make a pizza just by looking around. Keep your eyes peeded, there's pizza toppings everywhere just waiting to build your confidence.
